History and Winemaking
Georges Vesselle’s vineyard is nestled in the charming village of Bouzy, at the heart of the Champagne region, between Reims and Epernay. The 17-hectare vineyard benefits from an exceptional exposure on the slopes of Montagne de Reims, guaranteeing the perfect quality of their wines. Proudly holding the Grand Cru appellation, a highly coveted distinction in Champagne, Georges Vesselle’s story is one of dual passions: his love for Bouzy and his dedication to crafting exquisite Champagnes. Beyond winemaking, he served as the Mayor of Bouzy for 25 years and contributed to various innovations in viticulture, including pioneering vineyard development in India during the 1980s.
