History and Winemaking
With a heritage of over 60-100 years, the old vines of Bruella Vineyard and Fathom Ranch yield low-yield, high-concentration fruit that embodies the spirit of California Zinfandel. Owned by Jason and Kimberly Eells, these vineyards have been supplying exceptional grapes to Hahn Family Wines for over 20 years. Grown in the Mokelumne River AVA, a sub-region of Lodi known for its well-drained sandy loam soils and Mediterranean climate, these head-trained Zinfandel vines produce wines of unparalleled richness and complexity.
