History and Winemaking
Although the winery is in the commune of Serralunga, the 8.6 hectares of producing vineyards are situated in the villages of Monforte d’Alba (Bussia & San Sebastano crus), Novello (Ravera), La Morra (Castagni & Croera), Barbaresco (Secondine & Ronchi). Recently, they have planted an additional 7.4 hectares in Roddino (Corini).
Founded by former journalist and now trained oenologist Bisso Atanassov, the winery has a rich history. Although Bisso left in 2018 to pursue other projects, his former assistant has taken the reins and continues his fine work. The winery produces a wide range of wines including Dolcetto, Barbera, Freisa, Pelaverga, Favorita, and several Barbaresco and Barolo cru wines. Additionally, they offer a fabulous Langhe Nebbiolo and an exquisite Chardonnay grown in the Bussia cru.
