History and Winemaking
Xenysel comes from Jumilla, Spain, one of the best regions for Monastrell. The winery emphasizes organic farming, reflecting the region’s dry climate and limestone-rich soils. The Monastrell vines, some over 40 years old, grow at high altitudes, where dry farming methods result in low yields and highly concentrated flavors. The winemakers ferment the wine with natural yeasts and use minimal intervention, creating a wine that truly represents the Monastrell grape in its purest form.
